Minimum wage increase in garments and shoes in Cambodia from October 1, 2010

On July 8, 2010, a new minimum wage level has been set by the Cambodian Labor Advisory Committee for the garment and shoe industry. The last increase was in 2006. The monthly Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) that was previously paid as a supplement will also be reintegrated into the minimum wage.
